A brilliant half century by the No.3 and a magnificent five wicket haul by the left arm spinner seal a thrilling victory for MTSSC against Osterly CC.

Under 15’s are Middlesex County Indoor Champions

The 22^nd of April 2012 marked yet another chapter in the brief history of the MTSSC Colts. Our under 15 team was the first MTSSC team to reach the Middlesex County Indoor finals and made us all proud by winning the competition at the first attempt.

Under 13 & Under 15 MCA Cup Matches are a washout

The under 13 cup match against Bessborough scheduled for Thursday the 19th of April and the under 15 cup match against Uxbridge scheduled for the 20th of April have had to be postponed due to the bad weather that we are expriencing. The under 13 game has now been rescheduled to be played at Stanmmore grounds on Wednesday the 25th of April. The under 15 game has been rescheduled for Sunday the 29th of April at Uxbridge.

Under 15 A’s are North Area winners and are into the County Finals

Congratulations to the Under 15 A team !

The under 15 A team created more MTSSC history by being the first team to reach the Middlesex County indoor finals by winning the North Area indoor league. They played a total of 10 matches of which they lost just 1 match to Harrow St Mary’s. Even though Harrow St Mary’s tied with MTSSC on points, MTSSC were declared Area champions by virtue of having a higher runs per wicket figure. What makes this even more incredible is that the MTSSC figure was calculated from only 9 matches as against the 10 matches of Harrow St Mary’s. This was down to MTSSC receiving a walk over from West Harrow. Well done boys and keep up the good work.

Play Off Final between MTSSC A Vs HSM A

It was the match we were all eagerly waiting for. The Play off finals between MTSSC “A” and HSM “A”.  Few years ago, we would have billed it as a mismatch, a contest between David and Goliath. But not any more.  The boys,  their parents and officials of MTSSC were quietly confident that they can pull this match off. 

MTSSC U11A easily beats West Harrow

Our 5^th match for MTSSC U11A started at 11.30am on the 4^th of March and was against West Harrow. We won the toss and elected to bat. Risharn had a new opening partner in Kithmina and both batsmen struggled a bit to increase the scoring rate. Kithmina got out for 7 runs and this brought in Purushot to the wicket.
